I was going to say that this is the second time I can think of she's played a character where being Jewish was integral to the story and I did not think she was Jewish. That's a choice.

Mirren’s father was Russian and Meir’s parents were Russian/Ukrainian Jews. She changed her name from Mabovitch to the Hebrew-sounding Meir to appear ‘more Jewish’. So I guess they get one small point for effort there.
