I think what's more surprising is the speed with which he was dropped from absolutely everything. It either implies people knew, or that everyone was so tired of waiting for him to happen that they collectively went, "Eh not worth it".

It feels like a big whynotboth.gif situation. He had steady work (which shocked me, since I’ve never been a fan), but since he wasn’t A-list it probably made more sense to drop him. I’m glad that his career is dead, but it makes me angry when I think of women like Dylan Farrow who continue to be silenced and ignored for the sake of (boring, terrible, and downright creepy) entertainment

It doesn’t sound like he was that well-liked behind the scenes, so that could have played a part as well, because then you don’t even get the people like with Johnny Depp arguing that well he was always a great guy with me

Being rich and connected since birth probably made him feel like he didn’t have to try so hard, because even when he was just starting out he managed to get himself let go from his arc on Gossip Girl early because he reportedly insulted the lead actress to her face

Ugh, I hate it when terrible people hide behind their children like this. I feel awful for them and the women he’s terrorized

His wife already got the kids away from him, right? Hopefully when they get older the fact their mother protected them will overshadow the memory of the rest of it.

I think so, but I’m not certain. I just worry about how hard it must be to protect them from all of this. I hope they’re in a good home and school environment
