I know the 2017 movie made like $350 million, but like... I don't know anyone who saw it.

They should just throw this movie on some streaming platform and be done with it. I honestly still don't get how Kenneth Branagh keeps getting hired to direct these days. Cinderella was bad, Murder On The Orient Express was terrible, Artemis Fowl was a disaster... Flop after flop after flop and we already know what's gonna happen to this new bomb. And yeah, fuck Armie Hammer too.

"Express" made a bunch of money, it was a hit.
So we're stuck with his shit for awhile, since Hollywood loves to give a White man work.

Kenneth Branagh and Armie Hammer? Just burn it, it will be cheaper and a blessing

Crafting that strategy - one that respects silence breakers and survivors, protects Hammer’s co-stars like Gal Gadot and Letitia Wright, and avoids unsavory mentions of cannibalism fetishes and criminal sexual assault allegations for a brand synonymous with family - presents a dizzying array of challenges.

I like that we're at least acknowledging, 'hey, we don't want women to have to be around this guy.'

Honestly, this is one of the reasons I think Armie might actually stay cancelled. No actress with even marginal sway is ever going to want to be in a room with him again, for good reason.

The other advantage is that he never really "made" it anyway. He wasn't bankable, so no one particularly cares.

basically. he has stans (everyone has stans) and i'm sure they're vicious but the GP doesn't actually have any goodwill towards him so i bet it's much easier to make him disappear
