According to TMZ, thieves broke into Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s Los Angeles home through a window while they were home. The suspects took off after realizing the couple were there, but not before taking the keys to Shawn’

I didn't know they lived together!

That's so scary; I'm v anxious about break-ins--I check my door is locked several times a day. It probably won't help if someone is very determined, but it makes me feel better.

Could you get an electronic lock? We have one and it connects to an app so I can see on my phone that it’s locked (and if it’s not I can lock it). Although we also have a regular deadbolt too for when we’re home because I’m paranoid the electronic lock will malfunction/get hacked.

I have multiple locks and that eases my mind a bit. I have two doors - one to my enclosed porch that has two locks and one to my inside that also has two locks. Right now I'm actually being uhhhh stalked and harassed and I'm in the process of trying to get a PPO so I also invested in security cameras that are hooked up to my phone. They werent expensive and they alert me to every movement. It's pretty annoying bc they tell me about the squirrels, a breeze that moves tree limbs, etc. BUT they will also tell me if anyone is walking up to my house which is exactly what I need to know. If you're extra paranoid, I'd look into a camera or two. But maybe extra locks would be a starting point for you?

not to make you paranoid about other stuff but with that many locks i’d worry about if a fire happened. can you easily get out of your windows?
