I think it was a great ending. I cried. I thought it was a [Link to spoiler] great throwback to the first episode with the stars on the ceiling and Jonah showing Amy how to use the scanner. This show is so great and really relatable to anyone who works retail. I’m gonna miss it 😭
The curbside episode will forever have a special place in my heart because goddamn if that isn't an exact reenactment of how it's been at my workplace lmao, they really did capture the retail experience perfectly in every capacity
Yeah!! It really did capture the retail experience so well. The frustrations, the rude customers, the double speak of the head office/corporate people, etc. So good.
I know it was starting to go down in quality but I still really loved it and was hoping for one season after covid and America leaving to let it get back on its feet again. I’m glad at least they got canceled before series finale so they could do what they could to wrap it up. Was still a but awkward timing but I love this show I will miss it. I’m sad more people never got into it. For a nbc comedy it did try to do some important topics even if they didn’t always work. I appreciate they kept the fact the employees made no money and corporate sucks at all times.
it seems like nbc gave them juuuust enough of a heads up for them to be able to properly conclude, yet it was still about as strong of a finish as you can get imo. i loved it.
