I asked this in a previous post and I am still not sure not the answer, does she own her old music that was never released? Or does she have to re-record all that as well?

She owns the literal lyrics and the music like...on paper. But she doesn’t own the masters (the physical recordings/audio). So to own the actual audio she has to re-record it

You’re welcome! It’s weird on the surface because you’d think owning the lyrics would be enough. Or that if someone has the masters that’s it. Thankfully in her case she retained her songwriting/was always credited as the writer so she had some ability to fight this. A lot of artists don’t even have that much

I should enjoy this because I admittedly love her old music, but this is just so 😴😴😴😴😴😴😴. I think she's lost her touch for me. It's not just because I'm a hater; I've hated her for a long ass time, but her music has always been a guilty pleasure for me. She's been on a downward spiral since reputation tho.

Is it just me (or my crappy phone making all music sound tinny) or does she sound kinda unethused? Like she doesn't really feel it? I mean maybe that makes sense given she probably wrote this at like 16 years old.

"Shouldn't I find a stain, but I never do."

So, she should have known, and she knows she should have known, yet she didn't know? What's her real name - Scotty?
