-He has been sober for 1.5 years
-"I eventually, after many years of trying to kill myself accidentally, came to a point where I was going to do it for real"
-He now goes to Columbia University and had impostor syndrome about being a student there, but has come to accept it
-He has been in treatment and is happy to be here today
