This is why I can't help but roll my eyes a little when old Hollywood people like Scorsese say how traditional cinema is dying. Like, of course it is but it's being replaced with soooo many new stories and talent thanks to platforms like YT that allow anyone to create content. A Black woman like Issa would NEVER have gotten the same opportunities back then (and by "back then" I mean before the year 2000).
