I gotta make time to watch this even though I haven't watched ANY of the previous films lol.

But this all pleases me because swarmy,douchebags,condescending know-it-alls like Whedons are fuming at all the praise and release in general.

Exactly. The only part redeeming this JL movie is Cyborg's development. And Whedon took that off - meaning he's racist and bearing grudges against Ray Fisher for retorting him on set.

But goddamn, Snyder's JL needs to cut out the slow mo scenes. It's so dumb to see slow mo scenes dragging out the time than it needs to be. It should've been 2 1/2 hrs instead, if he cut the slow mo.

Also, I'm glad Fatfleck isn't in DC anymore, his acting is shit.

It's actually shocking because it ties so neatly into the larger story that they actually had to rewrite elements of the larger plot to justify cutting out most of Cyborg's story. It's also the only relatably human story in the movie, so the audience is denied a way into the narrative in Whedon's cut as well.

While I think he should've kept a bit more in the cut, i can see why it was condensed to a degree. W/out credits the movie is around 1hr45min, Cyborgs story as it is would've taken up a large amount of screentime.

The final act was too dark. I couldnt see shit.

But they fucked up Steppenwolf at the end real good. I like the way the baddies looked esp Darkseid
