He played a prank on Seth, who is black, by having him makeout with a 40-year-old man that he thought was a girl he found attractive. Prior to the prank, David explained it would be funny because Seth comes from a black area where being gay is "not accepted" and the flack Seth would get from kissing a guy would just be soooo hilarious.

Yes, Seth was a former member of the Vlog Squad and David did a ‘bit’ where Seth thought he was going to kiss Corinna under a mask, but it was really Jason Nash. He did that another time as well.
The second time David made Seth believe he was going to be in a commercial and then Jason Nash (who’s in his 40s btw) came in dressed as a gorilla and made out with him unknowingly

In fact David said on his podcast they chose Seth to do it to because he’s from Compton where homosexuality isn’t accepted and his friends would tease him for it, which means they chose him because he was Black. Seth has said several times how much the incident affected him and that he had to move to another state because of it, and that he thinks it was racially motivated as well
