I didn't hate the Chicago 7, like I thought it was fine and interesting, but to even pretend like Aaron Sorkin did a brilliant job of directing it is bull. The cast carries it, it literally could have been directed by anybody.

Fincher's probably closer to missing the cut than he is to winning at this point. His film has no real passion and has been losing steam all season.
