Yeah that’s not shocking. Almost everything she did post-HM was the typical rebellion against the child star image. It’s all supposed to be middle finger to that image.

Granted she went overboard cause anyone who follows Hollywood media picked up on this since most child/teen stars do this.

Her parents have as much blame as Disney does.

I think the industry def fucked with her for sure and it’s sad to think parents really push this shit on their kids. She touched upon it in one of her songs on the new album where she sings “there are layers to this body, primal sex and primal shame. They told me I should cover it, so I went the other way. I was trying to own my power, still im trying to work it out.” I think that feeling is the reason she’s so erratic and constantly changing appearances
