it’s also weird to me that they didn’t give her non-hannah character a new name. it was miley cyrus playing miley stewart. that has to get weird when you’re doing it 8+ hours a day on shooting schedules or s/t

But at the time her real name was Destiny Hope, she didn't change it until much later. Maybe they were sure she would use it tho, idk.

i think she was going by miley since she was a small kid tho, i remember it was a nickname for 'smiley' since she was a smiley baby.
