no offense but what barriers (or records) have they broken?

I'm no stan but they've been an actively promiting girl group for 10 years (girls aloud didn't last that long nor the spice girls in their original run) and I think they've sold something like 50 million albums. At least for UK/US standards that's commendable.

they’ve broken some records that specifically have to do with girl groups I heard-don’t remember the specific records but it was stuff like “longest charting album for a girl group”

They look beautiful. Jade looks a little like Dua Lipa on the cover.

I don’t follow them but I’ve liked some of their songs in the past. Was there any drama about the departure of their four member or is everyone just quietly moving on?

I only started listening to them when their newest album dropped, right before Jesy left, so I don’t know as much about them as their longtime fans. But from what I’ve seen from them, a lot of people are suspicious that Jesy may have left for other reasons than just mental health-that her mental health was def one problem, but that perhaps a fight with the management or with the other girls led to her sudden departure. The girls are being pretty mature about it and just quietly moving on though so we’ll probably never know unless someone does a tell all

As a long-time stan, there was no drama and it was all very mature. However, it's also been suspiciously quiet from the girls and their management, especially considering how torn up the fandom was.
