I'm not a big fan of the chibi look but I'm still looking forward to the D/P remakes, Platinum was one of my favorite gaming experiences of all time so I hope some of the features in Platinum are in the remakes as well.

I'm just glad though above all else that my girl Furret can finally stop walking

what makes platinum one of your faves of all time? i barely remember diamond&pearl (granted, it's been... a while lmao) so i'm rly curious what features platinum had to make it someone's fave

For me personally (mind you I haven't played Platinum in a very long time) its the best "3rd game" they done. They improved a lot of the shortcomings and flaws D/P had and had a very extensive post game, it was probably the only time I ever dedicated time to the battle frontier too.

The remakes look underwhelming af but Legends looks really fun. Very interesting choice to place it in a feudal era. I'm excited for the story alone but the different kind of gameplay is an added bonus. Wish I didn't know about it so early, this wait is gonna kill me.

i think releasing two versions of the same game with 1% differences is so archaic and anti-consumer. i'll skip the d/p remakes but i'll keep my eye on pokemon legends, it looks rough but it has potential.

I mean, they've ALWAYS done that. I don't mind, but don't make it ugly with that chibi shit.

they always have, but i also think they shouldn't. but i know there are so many fans who buy both versions so i guess they wouldn't stop unless there's community backlash.

That chibi style remake is UGLY.

The new Legends game looks promising. But The Skyrim esque sinister music with the the laggy buggy graphics of the player throwing Pokeballs took me out

I am dying for Pokemon Snap, in the meantime I think I might buy Shield. I'm almost done with BOTW and I need something else to play
