Not a great day for Germans with the racist tirade the German DJ went on against BTS.

I missed this. (probably because I don't follow any BTS accounts on Twitter) That absolutely sucks. Anti-Asian racism is on a rise due to the people like the former president of the USA calling the coronavirus the China virus, so I'm not shocked, but it still sucks that in spite of all their international success, they still have to deal with that.

German media never learns. Not a BTS fan but a German and it pisses me off that state funded media that I have to pay for with my taxes always throws out some half assed apology about “doing better in the future” and then continues doing blackface, using slurs and peddling racist stereotypes for “comedy”.

I saw a very concise takedown of him by someone on Insta like this morning, but I can't find their username now.

His shit makes me think he's like half a tier above Terry Richardson. He's got actual backgrounds, but they're terrible. The people look miserable, but at least they haven't been forced into sexually explicit poses? It's terrible either way.

(I'm def not trying to make light of accusations of TR. He's a predator.)
