I have been failing at reading and at my goal to participate in this challenge, ugh. BUT my favorite book is actually Kristin Lavransdatter (100% read the Tiina Nunnally translation though, the older ones are very ~old timey speech, and it is not great). It is, however, very long, lmao. Maybe I can manage a reread.

So many picks sound very intriguing.

I have family in Norway (who have ties to the US). They can’t wait to get back to that shit hole Florida...I don’t understand

I have some relatives in Norway on my mom's side that I've never met. I want to go visit the country sometime in the future, it looks gorgeous.

My family was supposed to visit last year but then the pandemic happened. Although they seem to have few cases. And our relatives, like their whole town, refuses to wear masks

idk what it is with people in this part of the world and Florida--I live in Sweden and I can't tell you how many Swedes I know that think it's the best
