Worst date: I was in high school. This guy lived with his two maternal grandparents, and we had dinner with them at their house on our first date. When we pulled up, they both came running out screaming "Our future daughter-in-law is here!" and at first i thought they were joking. They were not. Throughout the entire dinner, they discussed our upcoming wedding: I was to wear his mothers wedding dress, we would be marrying in their church, we would spend our honeymoon at some other relatives farm, then we could get to babymaking and have a son, then a daughter, then another son, and they would all be named after their relatives and family members, and I wouldn't have to work because I'd be helping all the other family members wives and I'd be too busy to want to bother with some silly job. There was not a single, solitary iota of consideration of me and my feelings or even those of my family. My date just sat there grinning, he thought the plan was fine. Oh yeah, one of my first date was at a pub. He spent about 10 mins of it telling me that he has 'small eyes' so his friends call it 'chink eyes' so I had to clock out and leave.

I just realised I've never really had a first date with someone relatively unknown to me. I either knew them before from school or work and the flirting had just sort of ramped up to the point where the first "date" was basically always food cooked by them at their place and sex lol.
But I've had great date nights once I was in a relationship.
