Congrats to her!.. It'll be nice to see her without those god-awful lip fillers, unless she's choosing to stay plumped up for the duration of the pregnancy.
Do straight couples discuss the division of labor when they talk about having kids? I keep reading stories on reddit and it feels like that's not the case. Makes me sad.
They should but don't, I think it's generally assumed the woman will do 75-95% of the housework and child-rearing depending on how "traditional" they are. The man gets to do the fun parts of taking care of the kid, will "babysit", and do some chores as well as do the outdoors work like mow the lawn and stuff.
Aside from labor, even *how to raise* your child isn't discussed until one parent gets pissed.
From religion/tradition and education/activities to things like punishment/reprimands.
It's insane how* many just dive into parenthood (as a couple or co-parenting) with a "we'll address it when it happens" attitude. And lol its not REALLY addressed until someone is past their breaking point and angry.
