Aw, congratulations to them both! And that tub looks absolutely lovely.

I have to admit I get a bit sad with all the pregnancy announcements, I have several close cousins and friends who are also currently pregnant in different stages and two friends who recently gave birth (not to mention all the ones that already have kids) and I feel soo ready to have a kid and be pregnant like yesterday, but my bf says he doesn't feel ready to become a father just yet so.. Just gotta wait. One day it hopefully will be my turn too :(

Seems like you guys have good communication and are open about it, but don't forget to always voice your concerns and if it feels right for you now, you should definetely sit on it and think about it! listen to yourself first I promise you its the right thing. Hopefully everything will align for you soon ( ... )

Aw thank you for the kind words ❤️

Yeah we do talk about it a lot and I do make an effort to check in with him from time to time as well so it feels like that is something which is well covered. I have a good support system too, my sister and my two best friends have been great to discuss with and given lots of support besides my partner. It does make sense and I get it - I will make sure to keep your words in mind too, thank you ❤️ I'm sorry to hear about what your sister experienced, I hope she has it much better now and is doing well!

I think a lot of people mistake trepidation for not feeling ready. Such a huge change will always provoke a certain amount of uncertainty and nervousness. I would have a serious conversation with him about what it would take for him to feel ready and try to nail down concrete and specific answers. It might help him figure out what's really holding him back and it will help you know if you guys are on track. Guys often don't fully appreciate that timetables are way more important for women than men when it comes to children and pregnancy.
