I realize they're leaning in on the whole "we can't do a photo shoot with all these people at once because covid so lets go hard into the not hiding this is photoshop" thing but yiiiiiiikes this is awful.

mte like the concept could have been interesting and zany but this just looks cheap with some taken too far away and others just cropped terribly. #someone was paid for this

I really wish we had that Freddie Mercury biopic with Sacha and directed by Fincher

Daya could’ve been styled better. Meh at this cover.

Speaking of Malcolm and Marie, I finally saw it the other day just for Zendaya and she nailed it as Marie. I love her comebacks; Tell HIM!! Other than that, the movie made by a white dude was mediocre and so... self aware(?) lol. I’m not sure where he was going for. I mean, like, I could see it as a theatre play or something I guess? The Lego thing took me out, the white voice/spiritual sisters and the "genuine” line too lol. Whew

any time Malcolm spoke it was such an uncanny valley feeling because you could tell where the dialogue was coming from and the intent it felt SO fake plus it screamed "i'm upset at hollywood for critiquing me in a valid way over my work" re: levinson sexualizing women in euphoria + assassination nation lmao visually it was great imo and Zendaya did a great job but there was 500 too many monologues for him to complain

I know it's not that crazy a career trajectory, but I'm still baffled that Sacha Baron Cohen is also considered a dramatic actor. It just ain't right! (in my head)
