weird and wonderful -- I don't normally like solo dance, but it works well here and I like the progression. I feel like SS is getting more comfortable using visuals to express himself as an extension of his music.

I recently went into a Sufjan Stevens rabbit hole, I listened to Carrie & Lowell quite a bit, really thought about the lyrics, I looked up his mother’s poems and these are my take aways:

1. Cults destroy lives
2. Family dysfunction reverberates through generations
3. Immigrant families worked themselves to the bone but at what cost
