Notes that while Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michelle Trachtenberg, Amber Benson, Clare Kramer, and Emma Caulfield have all publicly supported Charisma Carpenter following her speaking out about Joss Whedon's abuse of her on the Angel set, all of her male costars have thus far remained silent (female costars Amy Acker and Alyson Hannigan have also said nothing). Says it’s important for men to use their platform to boost and support women speaking out, as well to call out other men and to state that they believe women.
The article also points out that by not posting their support, and not lifting up Charisma's story, they are ensuring that the toxic environment and Whedon to carry on unquestioned.

He said in part: "I've been up most of the night just running through my memories, thinking, 'What did I miss?'...I am gutted, seriously gutted, because one of my memories, my fondest memory [from Buffy] is the fact it was so empowering.
I am really sad that if people went through these experiences - I was sort of like a father figure - I would hope that someone would come to me and say, 'I'm struggling, I've just had a horrible conversation'...there are other posts subsequently that are making me think, 'How on earth did I not know this was going on?'"
And in a sad addition, Michelle Trachtenberg has updated her previous post on Joss Whedon, saying there was a set rule that Whedon was not allowed in a room alone with her:

I am amazed at the bravery of those who speak out against toxicity and abuse. While I never experienced it first hand I had heard stories for YEARS from many people who did. I am sorry it took so long for the truth to finally come out. #IStandWithCharismaCarpenter
