I rewatched the whole thing with my husband recently and, while I love it, I'm glad it's ending. Seeing the early seasons over again showed me how much of a caricature some of the characters have become, and it sounds like a few of the main actors are ready to not be playing cops anymore so they're likely eager to see this coming to an end.

OT but I watched Ma recently and I loved it lmfaooooo I was cracking up the whole time

I couldn't really watch last season because I was so pissed at Terry Crews but in general my affection for this copaganda show really waned so I'm glad it's going to end itself. I did miss Raymond Holt tho, gay icon who I can love as much as one could ever love someone who's a cop

Not to mention, I wonder how much of the NBC restart was worth it? We got shows like the racism one on fox right? All my favorite moments were usually pre-NBC.

I wish Holt would quit being a cop and they could do a spinoff show of him and Kevin (and Cheddar).

the fact that he's the himbo in his relationship is just SO much to explore. I would love to see him just retired and doing things in the community or attending to a garden LOL

Holt and Kevin have such great chemistry. I love the episodes that 'focus' on them.

Good. I'm looking forward to seeing how the current cultural issues will be addressed in its final season. It could go any way.
