I'm personally always on the look out for songs that were clearly written about Calvin Harris or Tom Hiddleston that she then changed to make about Joe. I have a personal theory that "dancing with our hands tied" was written about Tom Hiddleston (re: dancing with him at the MET gala while she was dating Calvin Harris) but then she changed it after her cancellation in 2016 when she then didn't release an album until after they had already broken up.

I stand by my theory.
