UGH this is flashing me back to 8th-grade science - the AP bio kids (who shared our classroom) were dissecting cats and there were BAGS of them in my classroom on the windowsill. Some of the kids in my class were upset and the teacher did NOT care. He said it didn't matter because these particular cats were "bred for dissection." Like that makes it better??

Yea that makes it worse, breeding cats for dissection should be illegal.

We had to dissect cats in Anatomy my senior year of high school and you were technically allowed to opt out but my teacher pressured everyone to stay, she said you could just observe.
