YESSS! I need this movie to be introduced to new audiences who will now see there's no reason to not cast more people of color and blacks in period films.

This movie didn't explain shit to nobody about how all these different people were related, about how victor garber and whoopi could have had an asian child. They all just said their lines and had a good time!

I feel like that's what made it the best adaptation. It was treated as totally normal - as it should be. And NO ONE said shit! Just, "Oh, this is different. I like it!"
