I'm watching news coverage and for some reason at this moment the fact that Lady Gaga still goes by Lady Gaga just made me laugh out loud I'm not even sure why

I feel like at this point she could just start going by her real name honestly

idk it just feels like it made sense when she had a character that she was doing as part of her music to have a stage name like Lady Gaga because that added to the mystique. it's different from a nickname like Cher, or Elton John who did legally change his name.
