OP I love these Buffy posts & all the work you put into them! 2020/2021 has been so trash and it’s nice to fall into some nostalgia/escapism into my favorite show. I feel like I would literally take a course on Buffy if offered at this point lol

Will go back & read through once I’m @ home. Also not sure if you read fan fic or not but I’ve always wanted a post of really good Buffy fan fic recs. Been searching for some all quarantine but there’s soooooo much out there it’s exhausting to parse through lol

I don't read fan fics because I'm in grad school and tbh reading ANYTHING other than the required texts is laughable for me rn. Hah.
But I'm glad you enjoy them. <3 It's a nice break from school and work, and it lets me feel nostalgia and everything. I moved several hours away from family like, 2 months before the pandemic hit and I live alone in a strange city, so I basically work and do school work (both working remote) so, this gives me a feeling of interaction. It's also why I post and then stay on to comment and interact with people for a while after. <3

This broke me as a kid. 😭 Buffy’s dad was shit but she had Giles.

Helpless is truly an amazing episode. <3 I didn't put it on there because it pulls at my heart strings and Buffy spends the episode angry at Giles once she finds out, and I just have an emotional tug of war over it. Like, I get that he regrets it and only did what he was told, but watching Buffy be absolutely broken over him violating her just gets me every time. :(

I'm so glad you mentioned Checkpoint because it's one of my favourites. Buffy is so strong and the comedy is quite good. It always lifts my spirits.
