okay this sounds dumb as hell but if we have to go with either of these dudes i feel like tom holland would be better for some reason. timothee does not have the kind of warmth needed imo (i'm assuming they're basing this off the gene wilder movie). also wonka is essentially a slave trader we don't really need to delve into his origins.
