HBO released the promo for the second Euphoria special episode. The episode follows Jules after the events of the finale and is co-written by Hunter Schafer. It premieres early on HBOMax on Friday.

can't wait for more of jules. and if those clips that looks like they're a continuation of that fantasy scene from the start of the last episode are heading in the direction i think they're heading i can't see why the creator thinks they're endgame soulmates. sometimes things aren't meant to work out and that's ok

he said he thinks they're soulmates in the after the show interview for rue's standalone episode, and i'm just interpreting the endgame thing from the way he acknowledges that they're just not the best thing for each other right now. like they're going to have mature individually and reconnect when there's some growth and healing done. but i hope i'm just reading the situation wrong and the show doesn't just force them together

Thanks! And I’m hoping the show doesn’t force it as well. It really seemed like they weren’t trying to show them as a forever thing, that they were each the person in each other’s lives for the moment and for a reason. If the creator is changing that tune, seems like it might be less of a creative choice and more of a media/fandom reactionary choice.
