this show is so weirdly hit or miss for me. i liked the first season and the fourth season (purely for adrian brody as luca changretta). i will say that this show is the first time i got the hype for cillian murphy lol he's fantastic.

yes omg i do not understand how anyone liked that?? lmao my mans was trying hard to emulate marlon brandos vito corleone and it ended up being horrific, so much i couldn’t watch his scenes, the secondhand embarrassment was too strong for me

Apparently he was actually speaking old sicilian dialect

Ive been trying to watch this show for like 2 years. I stopped mid season... 3 I think. I just have to be in a very particular mood.

I also have to watch with subtitles because there is just something about the accent. I'm normally okay with Irish/British but I think along with the early 1900s terminology, my brain just won't accept it

I also watch with subtitles because I’m deaf in one ear and not great in the other, and some shows with accents just get me! Lol but I love the show
