I really enjoy Jack Dylan Grazer, so I'll deff watch Don't Tell a Soul!

I watched Elephant Song last night and I hate when movies talk so quietly. Bitch, I can't hear that! I do love movies that have very few characters and only be set in a few places as well. I didn't like the ending tho :(

Stoooop! I just read an article from ‘ The Graveyard Shift’ last night about the Sinbad,bad Shazam / Shaq, Kazam conspiracy....which I think I’ve contributed toooo lmao

Anyway- I know that there the 2018/19 movie , but not one from the early 90’s . So weird.

Watched a screener of Promising Young Woman last night. I really liked it and found it thought-provoking - different aspects of the film keep coming to my mind - but I can certainly understand why reactions and reviews have been polarized.

Also recently watched It Happened One Night, which was cute (and apparently the inspo for Bugs Bunny, which is fun!).

I watched Klute on the Criterion Channel. I really liked it! The chemistry between Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland was top notch and Jane was excellent ofc. It was striking to me how...restrained everything felt? Like it was a very sexy movie in places and Jane was literally playing a sex worker who was being stalked but it managed to portray all of that without being too much. If it was made today she would have been full frontal every six seconds and the violence against women would have been waaay more explicit rather than just sort of implied.
