I went to middle school with him, super nice kid obsessed with basketball. Died laughing in college when a friend said to watch that show and he was a basketball player.

I was listening to The Coogan Chronicles podcast and it's a by two childstars who interview other childstars and I was on the Devon Werkheiser (better known for Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide) and that's pretty similar to what Devon said, he thought after leading a show, roles would be easy after that but it's not and regretted not taking roles for the experience instead of money because he ended up just being broke at 25.
