Well, even though my favourite film of the year didn't make the list, it's still a gorgeous video, and I'm glad that he's almost at his goal of $10,000. The video itself is art, it's great. The juxtaposition of Borat and The Time of My Life is killing me.

I'm going to give this a watch later, but on the subject of I'm Thinking Of Ending Things, I think it was destined to fall short for me just because my expectations were too high. I felt like it missed the point of what I took away from the book or just wanted to make a different point altogether, which is obviously a valid choice to make in an adaptation, but there was some creepy imagery in the writing that I was really curious to see on screen if nothing else and I was a little disappointed that the shift in tone didn't allow for that.

But I definitely recognize where people could appreciate and resonate with the movie like parts of the book did for me, and I found it really funny in parts, which I didn't expect at all.

Has anyone here watched Time? It’s on Amazon I’ve been meaning to watch it.

I watched it and I loved it. The story is compelling, the visuals are stunning, and the soundtrack compliments the action beautifully. Highly recommended and definitely the best documentary I saw last year.

I just saw it after finishing this review video.

I didn't like it, but I still agree with everything daijouboo said - it was a fantastic movie, but I already agreed with everything it wanted to say, and I there was lots and lots of piano music and sound effect playing over scenery or background characters. So while I can acknowledge it was a splendid film, it moved too slowly for me to enjoy it.

I really liked it, especially how the editing ties the message together.
