Georgia polls shows the two Senate runoffs on Tuesday are within the margin of error and way too close to call. If Democrats win both runoffs in Georgia, they get 50 seats overall and a majority on January 20 with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris breaking a 50-50 tie. If Republicans win either seat, they will hold the Senate majority.

I am honestly so anxious about this that I'm sick to my stomach. Polls were so off in November when it came to Senate races so I haven't even checked this time around. I have no idea what the chances of Dems winning this is.

I hope we get election results like.... tomorrow night or maybe the day after. None of this 'taking 3 weeks to get election results' nonsense!

The polls in GA were pretty accurate actually. I think we will probably have an idea of who won tomorrow but it won't be official for a few days cause this is likely a 1 to 2 point race.

Yeah I think looking at polls at this point is a wasted exercise.

Things are looking good for Democrats but all I know for sure is that it'll be very close. I also think both races will go the same way.

Another advantage is that GA went blue in November. The Senate seems to be becoming more partisan and states are sending two senators from the same party that they vote for for president. This also bodes well for picking up seats in 2022 in WI and PA

i'm cautiously optimistic--i'm sure there were a lot of people who voted for biden just to vote against trump, but then voted red the rest of the ballot. this tracks in my county, biden won but all the other reps were republicans. i'm keeping my fingers crossed though!

Republicans are out there suppressing votes and purging voter rolls though. I hope Dems pull through though. Purdue and Loeffler are horrible
