This interviewer making condescending comments on MIA’s use of LTTE imagery never sat right with me.
But on the other hand MIA proving herself to be an anti-black mess was also disappointing af.

Does anyone remember (the interview was posted here) that some young woman in the industry came out saying she did all the vocals for MIA? I don’t remember if it was the same interview that said she was obsessed with being rich and that’s why she popped out a kid for the dude mentioned here. Mess.

Honestly, a lot of this interview came off as "putting this uppity brown girl in her place" on the interviewer's part. You can live in a nice area and like nice things and still sing and talk about injustice!
