There's so much (wrong) going on in this article that it almost seems gross to only point out one thing, buuuuut

I liked the idea of a photographer shooting me in his council flat in all this gold, knowing that the jewelry requires a bodyguard.

This article made people hate /\/\/\Y/\ really hard and then that album predicted the sound of a lot of critically acclaimed albums of the 10's and thematically it was on point, like, people ridiculed the whole connected to the google, connected to the government line and then the Cambridge Analytica scandal happened. Dropping Born Free as a first single after her huge worldwide hit is one of the ballsiest moves in pop culture

I saw her live a few years ago as an opening act for Lauryn Hill and I've honestly never seen a crowd that large so dead. People just did not give a fuck about her.

I mean it probably was the wrong crowd. I've seen her many times over the years and her shows are some of the best I've ever been to.

I saw her at a festival maybe... 10 years ago or something? So many people there to watcher and she had 0 energy or stage presence. Honestly one of the worst live performances I've ever seen.

I enjoy most of the obvious ones like Paper Planes, Bring the Noize and XXXO but out of the deep cuts my faves are definitelly Steppin Up, Bird Flu and aTENTion. Matangi is not talked about enough imo, it goes hard in the club setting

matangi is so underrated. I would say that's her last great album. aim is good, but I can see most people not fucking with it.
