Most annoying part of declaring bankruptcy is that you're still stuck with student loans, so hey, I'll do the next Bond movie too if it helps. Because it ain't ever getting paid off otherwise.
I love the whole Tosca sequence and that it’s the one film where Bond doesn’t sleep with the main ‘Bond Girl’. People mocked the whole water as oil allegory but I thought it was pretty on point considering what’s happened since then...
Thank you, exactly! It has a very Le Carre feel which I loved.
I also think Skyfall is terrible - it’s just a big bloated soap opera with Bardem’s villain both ridiculous and an extremely homophobic portrayal tbh. I genuinely don’t get why people stan Skyfall over Quantum.
The system is stacked against women and minorities. I blame them way less to not at all for the BS. Case dependent of course.
Get back to me when we ask Daniel Craig how much money is enough and why he keeps making some of the most sexist, and xenophobic movies in the mainstream, especially when he so openly hates doing them.
Yeah I’ll let her slide but Daniel will annoy me to no end with his whining about it. The Bond films have been out FOREVER! He knew exactly what he was signing on to!
He got fame and A LOT of money from it. I’m sure his original contract was up so if he hated what it represented he could’ve left but correct if I’m wrong didn’t he sign up for more?
Either shut up, fix it, or walk away. You can’t have you cake and eat it money.
I don’t really mind her taking up the role because she needed money (although I feel like she’s trying to get cookie point for highlighting its treatment of women)
but I always tend to “huh” when people criticize the bond films for being sexist.…only because they’ve always been like that.
Daniel Craig occasionally loves complaining about but like you knew that before signing up lol. You made quite the pretty dollar with it too
This is different from signing up for a brand new original film and then having it completely changed from what you signed on to.
I enjoy those movies but the 50+ year old Bond franchise has always been the same
