Glad to hear the story's actually as good as the animation* looks! (The stills I've seen are all so stunning. Like the art looks so real but still obviously cartoony.)

there's a point where [Spoiler (click to open)]the "real world" look and the afterlike look cross and it blew me away. the animation in this is nothing short of stunning.
