I enjoyed it but was quite disappointed at the 90% performance and 10% behind the scenes. I felt that we got nothing from her (channelling Dua) - no new personal information or insight into her tour aesthetic/theme, etc. They should have just strictly made it a live concert piece instead of pushing it as a documentary.

I had never seen her perform, but somehow I expected more ??? Like, I'm clearly not her biggest fan but I know she's talented and has an amazing voice but was underwhelmed watching her perform. The concert looked boring idk

And PS. Miss Americana is one of the most annoying celebrity docs I've seen 🤷🏻‍♀️ poor me, i was bullied out of the spotlight but look at me now going all political 😑🤡 girl, you wanted republican coin and that's why she never said anything before smh

something that i haaaaate thag she does is these long ass pauses between singing! like i get its a lot to jump around and sing but sometimes she’s just standing there and lets the crowd sing. she does it alllll the time. like ari if i wanted to hear strangers sing i’d go to karaoke

The fact that she's gone politically silent again is very telling.

I like Ariana but this documentary was boring, just as any documentary produced by its star is boring and a piece of advertisement above anything else.

Her concert is fun (although the production is below what we should expect from someone at her level of popularity) because her songs are good. But the behind the scenes segments? Those are unnecessary and you get to know a total of 0 things about her as a person, which is the whole point of those Netflix authorized docs.

Also, I kind of cringed at the descriptions below the name cards introducing ppl in her team. "Baddest bitch in the game"; "best person ever" and shit like that? Lol

I think ever since the donut (and then the Pete fiasco) they've kinda reeled her with showing things about her as a person. She used to use snapchat all day everyday for a while there and it she never really came across super great lol
