I know Kim probably made terrible choices in her life, but she never deserved Eminem writing and releasing songs about him killing her. I'm sure Kim was someone he claimed to "love" at one point. The way some of his fans justified his lyrics was disheartening.

god my worst nightmare is getting together with an abusive asshole, like they will haunt you for the rest of your life. still haunted by the end of the lorena doc with that guy STILL sending her letters about them getting back together and that she's the love of his life after she CHOPPED HIS DICK off???

he's on that list of "things i don't trust people for liking"

i feel like there's a difference between cathartic and reflective music/art/screenwriting/whatever about some of the worst parts of yourself and then there's just...putting your violent and hateful feelings out there. it's not something you can contextualize or separate from the artist like people try to claim.
