i've been rewatching the whole series over the last few weeks and jeeeeez season 6 is a drag. so much weirder than i remember it. season 5 however was a lot more fun that i remember!
however season 2-3 remain my faves forever because my fave characters were juliet and mr eko lol
I just wanna say a controversial opinion here which is that I LIKE KATE, OKAY, and I don't understand why she got so much hate. People were all like "omg why can't she choose between Jack and Sawyer she's so annoyinggg" but then loved Juliet who also got caught up in that quadrangle? Now that was an annoying af character, I was so glad when she died. She and Sawyer had literally zero chemistry and their romance was pulled out of nowhere with no buildup for a "surprise!" moment, not buying it sorry.
Sawyer/Jack/Kate as a threesome should have been the way imo.
I hated everything to do with Jack/Kate/Sawyer/Juliet lol. I liked the chemistry between Juliet and Sawyer the best and I was happy Jack and Kate ended up together in heaven because I hated them so it was like "great go be dead together and stop infecting the rest of this cast." I was far more interested in Jin/Sun/Locke/Sayid/Shannon/Desmond/basically anyone but Jack or Kate.
love triangles are a messy trope for a reason, the girl in the middle (and it's mostly a girl) never comes out looking good. The dudes look pathetic or obsessive after a point. It does no character ever any favours. Half your audience will inevitably be pissed off cause their fave pairing loses to the one they hate. No thanks.
I avoid love triangles like a plague. But also I liked Sawyer/Juliet, they were sweet together lol
The Lost watch posts in here were always the best and the ones for season 6 got me through my terrible first year of college. Literally the only thing that got me through the week would be anticipating watching Lost and then coming here to discuss it and then reading the Ack Attack recaps. Peak internet days!
Anyway Sayid/Shannon was my OPT and I'm fine with the finale because they wound up together in heaven.
