You are not wrong. IASIP gets off the hook the most because it's a very dudebro-protected show. I love some episodes but even when I started watching it like, 8 years ago? I was impressed by how misogynistic and racist it was with the "excuse" that the characters were just like that.

I hope the creators have learned they fucked up and apologized for it. This show doesn't need to be this edgy.

I recommend it, but fair warning that the first handful of seasons are not PC and have instances of black face (while the point is that the characters are idiots, it's still black face on a TV show. I don't think they've done it in a long while now).

If you want to watch one episode, my favorite is CharDee MacDennis: The Game of Games and I think it works well as a standalone episode. The show at this point has so many jokes that'll go over your head if you haven't watched it the whole way through but CharDee MacDennis is hilarious regardless of how many episodes you've already seen.

I tried to watch this show because I liked the memes, but that infamous first episode is racist garbage and I can't believe its still so beloved after that. Oh well

yeah, I can never watch some of those first episodes. the show became something really different after that, but still it started off rough.
