living for the new samantha mumba, miley's album is great and actually lowkey into the sadboy2005 stuff. that's a trish paytas project right? not only does it hold up as a pop/rock album but her whole aesthetic and her britney baby vocals actually make it a more interesting piece of work imo!!! it's postmodern ARTpop!!!

It's BILLIE Joe Armstrong, not Billy.

It says it right in the title of the YouTube video.

miley's album is good. I'm not a fan of her by any means but it's a solid album that I would replay. that said... it doesn't "feel" organic. first, it's miley and the next album could be vaporwave or whatever's trending. and it's like she said she wanted to go 80s/punk just for the sound but for me it's not a genre that you can co-opt as easily without sounding more dated (maybe not dated but distinctly 80s/punk) unlike disco which, in my opinion, has evolved through time and is also seen as more carefree. and with that also said, the visuals are 80s but the music doesn't sound cohesively 80s
