It was all gossip, but I don't think there seemed to be tension or anything ever said about one to the other. I personally think it was unfounded. I think the industry put them together because they were seen as being from the same country and somewhat the same genre. I heard that people assumed Maluma was kind of blacklisted or not as collaborative with other folks. You see J Balvin with Bad Bunny and Nicky Jam all the time or Daddy Yankee, so people assumed people just don't want to collaborate with Maluma. I don't really see him having the same amount of fame as them in the U.S.
