Just got picked up for Season 3 of my podcast The Jump! I can’t believe it. Thanks to all the fans for subscribing and supporting. I couldn’t be more delighted. Nothing but love love love to you all in this ghastly year of our covid.

Woops, I didn't realise she had a season 2. Good for her, it's a great show.

Since this is a podcast post, here are some of my pop culture/music-related podcast recommendations:

-The Throwback Podcast - they go through 90s and 2000s albums but they also discuss what was going on in the world during that time and it's pretty funny overall

-The Ongoing History of New Music - random little tidbits about rock/new wave/alt rock bands, and sometimes music in general

-Rolling Stone Music Now - lol the title says it all, they discuss current trends/deaths in the music industry

-Transmissions - a Joy Division/New Order deep dive

-Toronto Mike'd - for anyone who wants to know more about Canadian/Toronto media personalities

-Erica Ehm's Reinvention of the VJ - I haven't listened to it yet, but she interviews 80s and 90s VJs from Much Music. (um can she hunt down Leah Miller though?)

I'd also like to add:

The History of the 90s: "travel back in time through the stories that defined a decade. The last 10 years of the 20th century was a time like no other, from Columbine to Ruth Bader Ginsburg to Seinfeld, Air Jordan, and the Spice Girls …if it happened in the 90’s you’ll hear about it on this podcast. "

and

Switched on Pop: "podcast about the making and meaning of popular music"

and

Why'd You Push That Button?: "about the choices technology forces us to make, featuring interviews with consumers, developers, friends, and strangers". super interesting from 'why do you still use snapchat' to 'do you use read receipts or no'. SO interesting.

I'd also like to add:

FemTV: An interview series featuring real stories about women working in the TV industry.

Awesome pics! Love Toronto Mike, and have been an 'Ongoing History' fan since the 90's. Going to check out Erica Ehm's podcast (had no idea she had one). :D

I think it's a sponsorship thing. Despite having millions, a lot of the famous people's podcasts I listen to keep saying, "If we have no sponsors, we're not doing it."

Came here to say this. I hope this doesn't become a trend...

Didn't know she had a podcast, didn't know they had to be renewed. I've only recently started listening to podcasts and i am basically living with my earphones now.

Lemme recommend some...

I am currently listening to 'Conviction : American Panic' and omg, it's about the satanic panic! I rarely tear up at stuff but this one got me.

The first season is also good, about corrupt cops and wrongful convictions.

I also completed The Clearing, which was freaking amazing too about the woman who turned in her serial killer father.

Also, 'You're dead to me' and 'evil genius' by bbc radio are really good. I quite like 'Ologies' too.

Anyone got other recs for me?
