This show kills every woman character ever, so there haven’t been many people to pair the brothers with. It got so bad that people were trying to pair them with each other. Then another dude shows up and has some emotional intimacy with one of the brothers, and the fans (especially on tumblr) went hog wild. For years they’ve dreamed of this pairing becoming reality, and the people who make the show seemed to be making fun of them for it. Now suddenly 5 minutes before the show dies they’re kinda throwing it in there, like, “here, take these scraps and fuck off.”
