Julian Casablancas looked more tidy than usual! And I thought they sounded good, though I wish they'd played one older song for nostalgia purposes.

Between this and Jack White, I'm more pleased than usual with SNL performances this year.

the bar is pretty low for Julian, eh? but he did change outfits for each song

They sounded great compared to some of the other times they've played. They seemed like they actually tried and didn't look bored. lol.

I'm not crazy about their new stuff though, but, in general, The Strokes aren't my favorite out of that generation of NYC post-punk bands.
