Yeah I know a girl who did that. Her family has money too but her boyfriend's family is LOADED (his family owns/invests in multiple famous companies) and she stopped working when she moved in with him a couple of years ago. I'd love the option for sure (I'll probably get it too since I only date rich guys too), but I'd never actually stop working. Doing that will fuck you over big time, especially as a woman. I hope these women are at least socking money away.
